Quick Navigation

These Terms of Service govern your use of Bitejob. By using our platform, you agree to these terms. Questions? Contact us at legal@bitejob.com

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Bitejob platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service. These terms apply to all users, including workers, companies, and visitors.

2. Description of Service

Bitejob is a marketplace that connects skilled workers with companies and individuals seeking professional services. We provide tools for job posting, service discovery, direct communication, and membership-based features. Bitejob acts solely as a platform and is not a party to any agreement between workers and employers.

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities under your account. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information. Bitejob reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

4. Worker Responsibilities

Workers agree to provide services honestly and professionally. You must have the qualifications, licenses, or certifications required for the services you offer. Workers are independent contractors — Bitejob is not your employer and does not control how you perform your services. You are solely responsible for your tax obligations and compliance with applicable laws.

5. Company Responsibilities

Companies posting jobs must ensure listings are accurate, legitimate, and comply with all applicable labor laws. You may not discriminate based on race, gender, age, religion, disability, or any other protected characteristic. Companies are responsible for verifying worker qualifications before hiring.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to: post false or misleading information; harass, threaten, or abuse other users; attempt to bypass our systems or access unauthorized data; use the platform for illegal purposes; scrape, copy, or redistribute platform content without permission; or create multiple accounts for fraudulent purposes.

7. Payments and Membership

Certain features require a paid membership. All payments are processed securely through our payment providers. Membership fees are charged in advance and are subject to our Refund Policy. Bitejob does not take a commission on transactions between workers and employers — you pay only for your membership plan.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, logos, trademarks, and software on Bitejob are owned by or licensed to us. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute platform content without prior written consent. User-generated content remains your property, but you grant Bitejob a non-exclusive license to display and promote it within the platform.

9. Limitation of Liability

Bitejob is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including disputes between workers and employers, failed hires, or loss of income. Our maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Bitejob may suspend or terminate your account immediately for violations of these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. Clauses relating to intellectual property, liability, and disputes survive termination.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration. You waive the right to participate in class-action lawsuits. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users by email and update the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically.
